Employee Benefit Programs

Eligible employees at Lahontan are provided a wide range of benefits. A number of the programs (such as Social Security, workers' compensation, state disability, and unemployment insurance) cover all employees in the manner prescribed by law.

Some benefit programs require contributions from the employee, but most are fully paid by Lahontan.

Lahontan Golf Club is a member-owned, private club; therefore access to the Lodge and its amenities is strictly limited for the exclusive use of the Club Members. Employees are prohibited from utilizing the golf course, driving range, putting green, men's and women's locker rooms, exercise room, tennis courts, swimming pools and restaurant at the Clubhouse, Camp or any other Golf Club facilities with the exception of the following Employee Play Policy.

 Nature Of Employment

Employment with Lahontan is voluntarily entered into, and the employee is free to resign at will at any time, with or without cause. Similarly, Lahontan may terminate the employment relationship at will at any time, with or without notice or cause, so long as there is no violation of applicable federal or state law.


Immigration Law Compliance

Lahontan is committed to employing only United States citizens and aliens who are authorized to work in the United States and does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of citizenship or national origin.

In compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, each new employee, as a condition of employment, must complete the Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) and present documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility prior to the start of work. Former employees who are rehired must also complete the I-9 form.

Employees with questions or seeking more information on immigration law issues are encouraged to contact a member of the HR committee. Employees may raise questions or complaints about immigration law compliance without fear of reprisal.
